Chhattisgarh to Host First Franchise Night Football League

Chhattisgarh announces its first-ever franchise night football league with 10 teams and over 200 players, including professional foreign talent set to compete.

With the aim of promoting professional sports in Chhattisgarh, Veer Sports Club is organizing the first recognized franchise night football tournament in the state, following the Chhattisgarh Premier League (CPL-T20). This league, the Chhattisgarh Football Champions League, will be affiliated with the Chhattisgarh Football Association and will give football in the state a new identity. Ten teams have selected over 200 national and state-level players through auction, including professional foreign players of African origin.

The football league will run from October 29th to November 9th.
Veer Sports Club President, Advocate Praveen Jain, stated that the 10 franchise teams in the Chhattisgarh Football Champions League have acquired over 200 national and state-level players through auction and formed their teams. The tournament will be held under the lights of Subhash Stadium from October 29th until November 9th. A large number of professional foreign players of African origin will also participate in this tournament.

Praveen Jain said that football is the most popular sport in the world, but it lags far behind in Chhattisgarh. Keeping this in mind, we want to provide a better platform for our state's players so that football can flourish in the state.
