Affiliation of MJ Pharmacy College Likely to Be Cancelled in CSVTU Paper Leak

One after another new revelations are being made in the question paper leak case of the fourth semester examination of Pharmacy of Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU). Now CSVTU has indicated action regarding the leaked question paper from the examination center MJ College of Pharmacy. CSVTU has said that MJ Pharmacy College is proving unsuccessful in conducting examinations along with the basic requirements. In such a situation, CSVTU will consider terminating the affiliation of the college in the upcoming working council meeting. Its information will also be sent to the Pharmacy Council of India.

On the other hand, MJ College management has also sent its reply to CSVTU, in which minute-to-minute information of the paper leak and the day of examination has been sent. Apart from this, MJ College has done another correspondence with CSVTU. In which MJ College has requested to close their examination center. In this, the problems being faced in the examination work with high student numbers have been shared. In response to this, CSVTU says that if a college cannot take the responsibility of conducting an exam, then why should they take affiliation?

Students told the center that wrong question papers were distributed

On August 11, there was a Medicinal Chemistry exam of Pharmacy fourth semester in the examination center MJ College, in which many candidates were given the Pharmacology question paper to be held on August 18, due to which the question paper got leaked. It is possible that the question paper packet was not noticed. This can be natural, but everything like the subject code, name of the question paper was also written on the question paper. Both the center head and the supervisor did not understand this either. When the wrong question paper came into the hands of the candidates in the examination hall, there was a ruckus. The candidates told the center supervisor and the center head that they had received the wrong question paper. This exam is going to be held after seven days. Then the center officials woke up. In a hurry, the wrong question papers and answer sheets of all those candidates were taken back. Due to this negligence, about 30 minutes of the candidates were wasted. Later, CSVTU issued an order to postpone the examination to be held on August 18.

Did CSVTU also commit a mistake?

The question papers of any examination reach the university directly from the printing unit. Before the examination, the university examination department starts assembling these question papers college-wise. So that they can be easily given to the centers on the day of examination. There is every possibility that, during the assembling of the question papers, a packet of the wrong question paper was also included in it. Neither the university examination department nor the faculty who came from the center noticed that the packet of the question paper was wrong. In a hurry to reach the center, the faculty left with all the 20 packets of question papers and it was also opened before the examination. However, the officer of the university examination department has also committed a big mistake in this. The Registrar has started an investigation into this matter. It has been said that if the employee-officer of CSVTU commits a mistake, action will be taken against them too.
