Bangladeshi Woman Living Under Fake Identity Arrested in Chhattisgarh

In a significant crackdown on illegal immigration, the Special Task Force in Chhattisgarh arrested a Bangladeshi woman, Panna Bibi, who had been living in Bhilai's Supela area for two years under a false identity as "Anjali Singh alias Kakoli Ghosh."

Continuous action is being taken against Bangladeshi intruders. Special Task Force of Durg Police has once again arrested a migrant Bangladeshi couple. The Bangladeshi couple was living on rent in the house of a criminal under surveillance in Contractor Colony Supela for the last 8 years by changing their names and making forged documents. Police arrested both of them and presented them in the court. Let us tell you that two days ago, the STF team arrested a Bangladeshi woman from Supela, who was living in Bhilai for two years by changing her name and making a fake Aadhar card.

SSP Vijay Agarwal said that both husband and wife came to India from Bangladesh in 2009 and reached Thane in Mumbai via Howrah. Shahida Khatun and her husband Mohammad Russell, residents of Bangladesh, first made fake documents in Thane, then came to Bhilai in 2017 and started working as laborers and caterers here. Both were residents of Jassor district of Raghunathpur in Bangladesh and reached India in 2009 from Bonga border of India-Bangladesh.

Supela police had also arrested them in 2020
The SSP said that both of them had gone to Bangladesh in 2017 and came to India with a visa after getting married there, but the visa of both of them had expired. Meanwhile, in 2020, they were arrested by the Supela police. Even then, as they did not have any documents, a case was registered against them under the Foreigners Act and Indian Passport Act. Here, in these few years, both of them, while living in Supela, again made a fake Aadhar card of Bhilai.

They were living even after the validity of the passport expired
During interrogation, the police came to know that both of them also had passports, but even after the validity of the passport expired, these people were living illegally in India. Shahida Khatoon's visa expired on 13 September 2018 and Rasel's visa expired on 12 April 2020. Currently, Durg police has arrested both of them and presented them in the court.

The police has not even submitted the lease deed

It is being told that this couple used to live on rent in a house occupied by a monitored criminal Hareram of Supela. Police is currently interrogating Hareram. For a long time, that monitored criminal had kept the information about their presence there hidden from the police. Not only this, no lease deed has been submitted to the police.
