The incident took place in the City Kotwali police jurisdiction. According to police reports, biker Sagar Singh, traveling from Champa, collided head-on with a car coming from Janjgir to Champa. The impact was so severe that the front wheel of the car broke off and the bike was badly damaged.
Biker Referred to Bilaspur
After the collision, Sagar Singh fell onto the road after hitting the railing. He suffered critical injuries. Police reached the scene immediately, and the injured biker was taken to the district hospital for initial treatment. Considering his serious condition, he was referred to Bilaspur for advanced medical care.
Car Family Safe
The car occupants—Ashish Maravi, his pregnant wife, and their childwere completely unharmed. Ashish stated they were in Janjgir for his wife’s medical treatment and were returning home to Jaijaipur. The car’s airbags deployed, preventing any serious injury.
Both vehicles have been seized by the police, and an investigation is underway. Legal action will follow after the completion of the formal report.
