A heart-wrenching road accident has taken place in Jashpur district of Chhattisgarh. A large number of villagers returning from Ganesh Visarjan were trampled by a speeding Bolero. There was a lot of screaming on the spot. Three people died in this tragic accident. Dozens of people were injured. The incident took place in village Jurudand of Bagicha police station area.

According to the information, people in village Jurudand went to immerse the Ganesh idol dancing and singing, but while returning, the happiness of the festival turned into mourning. A speeding Bolero (CG 15 CR 1439) trampled the villagers returning home. After the accident, the driver tried to escape from the spot along with the vehicle, but the villagers caught him and beat him up badly.

3 people died in this accident. More than 24 people were injured, some people have suffered serious injuries. The injured have been brought to Bagicha Community Health Center. Some have been sent to Ambikapur Medical College. At present, everyone is undergoing treatment.
