The facility of drop and go automatic boom barrier has been started at Uslapur station, due to which drivers coming to drop or pick up their relatives will get free parking facility for seven minutes. Fee will have to be paid for staying more than the prescribed time.

Uslapur Railway Station of Bilaspur Division of South East Central Railway has got another important achievement in the direction of passenger facilities. Under the guidance of Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Anurag Kumar Singh, the divisional commercial department has started the state-of-the-art facility of drop and go in the station premises, due to which now passengers will not have to pay parking fee for seven minutes to drop or pick up their relatives from the station. Uslapur station has become the first station of South East Central Railway Zone to implement this facility.

To maintain transparency of the facility, a state-of-the-art automatic boom barrier has been installed at the station, which automatically records the entry and exit time of the vehicle. If a vehicle stops in the station premises for more than seven minutes, only then the prescribed fee will be applicable. This initiative has been taken with the aim of making the parking system in the station premises dispute-free and systematic.
