Cabinet Meet Today Evening; CM’s Delhi Visit & Sawan Swing Festival

A cabinet meeting is scheduled for this evening while the Chief Minister begins a two-day visit to Delhi. Meanwhile, traditional celebrations mark the Sawan swing festival across the state.
A cabinet meeting will be held today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai. This meeting will be held at the Ministry located in Nava Raipur Atal Nagar from 11 am, in which many topics including the availability of fertilizers in the current Kharif season can be discussed. Along with this, many important departmental proposals will also be approved.
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai will be on a two-day visit to Delhi from today. After the cabinet meeting, he will leave for Delhi at 2.15 pm. On his Delhi visit, he can meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President. He can also hold a meeting with the MPs of Chhattisgarh. During this time, discussion on the names of the contenders for the post of Vice President is possible. At the same time, speculations of cabinet expansion have also intensified once again.
In the upcoming session, the team of Bhilai Cricket Association (BCA) will also participate in the cricket competition of various categories to be organized by Chhattisgarh State Cricket Association. Only those players can participate in the selection competition of the Bhilai Cricket Association team who have registered themselves. For this, the registration process by Bhilai Cricket Association is starting from 4th August from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm in the office of Bhilai Cricket Association. For registration, one has to appear with a digital copy of the date of birth, mark sheets of the last 6 years and Aadhar card (original and photocopy of all these) and a passport size photo. The cut off date for different categories is between 1 September to 31 August 2013 for Under 14, between 1 September 2010 to 31 August 2012 for Under 16, after 1 September 2007 for Under-19 and after 1 September 2003 for Under 23.
