Health Department Intensifies Testing and Surveillance Measures
COVID-19 cases are beginning to rise again in Chhattisgarh. Two new positive cases have been confirmed in the state capital, Raipur, prompting concern among health officials. In response, the Health Department has increased testing and monitoring efforts to control the spread of the virus.
Cases of corona virus infection have started coming up again in Chhattisgarh. A total of two new corona positive patients were found in Durg and Raipur on Monday. Thus, the number of active corona patients in the state has now increased to three.
According to the information, corona infection has been confirmed in a 50-year-old woman in Raipur. This woman is a resident of Avanti Vihar area. Investigation revealed that the woman has no travel history, due to which the source of infection is not yet clear. The treatment of the infected woman is going on at MMI Narayana Hospital. A new corona infected patient has also been found in Durg district.
Take precautions to avoid infection
People are requested to take precautions, use masks in crowded areas and follow social distancing. Also, get tested immediately if initial symptoms of corona appear and contact the doctor if necessary.
