CM Sai to Attend BJP State-Level Meeting
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai is scheduled to arrive at the BJP State Headquarters in Raipur at 10:45 AM for a high-level organisational meeting. Party leaders are expected to review ongoing political activities, discuss organisational strategies, and deliberate on current issues affecting the state. The Chief Minister is expected to return to his official residence after the meeting.
Congress Announces Statewide Protest
The Congress party has called for demonstrations across Chhattisgarh, alleging that central investigative agencies are being used for political purposes. District units have been instructed to organise protests, with party leaders and workers expected to participate in demonstrations across the state.
Power Pensioners to Stage Protest in Raipur
The Chhattisgarh Electricity Retired Employees Federation, affiliated with the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS), will hold a protest from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM outside the Power Company Headquarters in Dangania, Raipur.
The federation is demanding action on a 14-point charter, including pension reforms, improved medical facilities, proforma promotions, restoration of electricity-related benefits, and regularisation of contractual employees. A memorandum is also expected to be submitted to the management following the demonstration.
Deputy CM Arun Sao's Bemetara Visit
Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao will tour Bemetara district on Friday, where he is scheduled to participate in the School Enrollment Festival (Shala Praveshotsav). During his visit, he will also inaugurate and lay foundation stones for several development projects before returning to Raipur later in the day.
