The railway administration took strict action against the vending stalls that were overcharging the railway passengers for water bottles. At Uslapur railway station, water bottles available for Rs 15 were being sold to passengers for Rs 20. On receiving a complaint, an investigation was conducted and the allegation was found to be true, after which the concerned vending stall was sealed.
According to the information, the railway administration had received a complaint from the passengers about overcharging for water bottles at Uslapur railway station. Here, water bottles available for Rs 15 were being sold for Rs 20.
After this, the railway team reached the spot and investigated, in which the complaint was found to be true. The railway administration took action and sealed the vending stalls that violated consumer rights.
