In fact, EOW, which is investigating the CGMSC reagent scam, has presented a challan in the special court, holding 6 technical officers and departmental officers guilty in the reagent scam of Rs 341 crore. There are serious allegations against them. After this Mokshit supplied at very high prices.

The cream which cost 8 rupees was sold at 23 rupees. The prices of reagents and treatment machines were also very high. The machines were to be installed everywhere, but this was not done. The machines were suddenly locked at the places where they were installed. The result was that the government suffered a loss of about 400 crores. During this period, reagents worth 95 lakhs were wasted.

In this case, EOW and ACB registered a crime under Section 409 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code and Section 13(1)(A), 13(2) and 7(C) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. Many government officials who were involved in this were also arrested. Shashank Chopra was arrested and sent to jail on the orders of the court. He filed a petition for his bail.
