The development agenda of Chhattisgarh is set to receive fresh momentum through stronger coordination between the Central and State governments, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said on Saturday during a meeting with Union Minister Giriraj Singh at the Chief Minister’s residence office in Raipur.

The meeting focused on ongoing development initiatives, welfare schemes, and the role of cooperative governance in ensuring faster implementation of public projects. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai welcomed the Union Minister by presenting a traditional shawl and a memento.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, continuous dialogue and better coordination between the Centre and the State have created a favorable environment for development. According to him, this collaborative approach has helped accelerate infrastructure projects and improve the delivery of welfare schemes across the state.

Sai emphasized that effective cooperation between different levels of government is essential for ensuring that the benefits of public welfare programs reach the last person in society. He noted that several flagship schemes are being implemented more efficiently due to regular communication and policy support from the Central Government.

The Chief Minister stated that Chhattisgarh is witnessing progress in multiple sectors, including infrastructure, agriculture, rural development, employment generation, and social welfare. He added that coordinated efforts are helping the state achieve its development goals while ensuring inclusive growth.
