Chhattisgarh Govt Revamps CR System for 4 Lakh Employees, CR Deadline Extended Again
Raipur,C.G
The state has introduced major changes to the Confidential Report (CR) process: shifting from A/B/C ratings to a 0–10 numeric scale, implementing full online submission via SPARROW, automated escalation if seniors delay, and extending the CR submission deadline to September 15.
The state government has once again revised the time limit for writing the annual performance appraisal report (CR) of government officers and employees for the year 2024-25. The revised time limit will be applicable to the officers and employees of the state service except the officers of the All India Service.
According to the order of the General Administration Department, government servants will now be able to start self-evaluation for the current year from 15 August instead of 15 July. The final evaluation will be done till 30 November. A new form has been implemented for writing the annual performance appraisal report. Technical difficulties are being faced in voting in it. The onboarding work of officers and employees is under process for voting. Also, data is being collected from the new department and officers and employees are being trained to write the performance appraisal report on the Sparrow portal. In such a situation, it is not possible for all government servants to write the annual performance appraisal report within the time limit prescribed by the concerned. In view of this, the State Government has changed the time period prescribed for writing the annual performance appraisal report of the State Government servants (except All India Service officers) only for the period of the year 2024-25.
