Possibility of rain for three days, yellow alert issued in 28 districts today
There is a possibility of heavy rain in Chhattisgarh for the next 3 days. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in all districts except Balrampur, Janjgir-Champa, Korba, Korea and Surajpur districts today. Talking about monsoon, 87.3% quota has been completed in the state till September 8. Normally, the average rainfall is 1143.3 mm, whereas till now 998.6 mm rainfall has been recorded. This year, except for the month of August, the monsoon has been normal so far.
Recruitment for more than 500 posts in the health department
This is a golden opportunity for unemployed youth to get employment. Staff nurse, rural health coordinator male female, ward boy and ward aaya will be recruited in the health department. For this, an examination will be conducted by Vyapam. There will be recruitment for a total of 525 posts. Apart from this, 25 posts of Pharmacist Grade-2 will also be filled. Applications will be invited by Vyapam for both soon. According to the order issued, temporary health workers appointed in government health institutions of Chhattisgarh state during the corona pandemic and serving continuously for one year to 6 months will also get the benefit of 10 bonus marks for selection to the third and fourth class posts of the department.
General meeting of State Child Welfare Council today
The annual general meeting of Chhattisgarh State Child Welfare Council has been scheduled on September 11 at 3 pm at Vimtara Bhawan in Shantinagar. The general meeting will be presided over by MP Brijmohan Agarwal. The meeting will discuss the annual report 2024-25, approval of estimated budget for the coming year along with audit report of the previous financial year, appointment of charter accountant, upcoming schemes including Balgrih Balika and Balak run by the council, Open Ashray Bal Mana Camp, Balgrih Balika Kondagaon, Vani Vachan Shravan and Multi Training Rehabilitation Center, Pre Primary Special School for Divyang Children. Also, former officials and members will be honored on their appointment in the Commission-Corporation of Chhattisgarh Government.
Civil Judge Recruitment Exam on 21st, Admit Card Released
The preliminary examination for Civil Judge (Junior Division) Recruitment will be held on 21st September. For this, CGPSC has released the admit card. This vacancy was released in December 2024 for recruitment to 57 posts. The preliminary examination will be of 100 marks. 100 questions will be asked in it. The examination will be held from 10 am to 12 noon. Examination centers will be set up in Raipur, Bilaspur and Durg-Bhilai.
Mass Shraddha Tarpan and Pinddaan on 21st, registration started
Mass Shraddha Tarpan and Pinddaan will be organized on 21st September at Gayatri Shaktipeeth located in Samata Colony on the last day of Pitru Paksha, Sarva Pitru Moksha Amavasya. Registration has been started for this religious ritual. Rajesh Kumar Shukla, media in-charge of Gayatri Parivar Trust Samata Colony Raipur, said that Dev-Tarpan, Rishi Tarpan and Pitru-Tarpan will be performed with Vedic mantras. Pinddaan, Jalanjali, Tilanjali and Pushpanjali will also be offered for the peace of the soul of the ancestors and attainment of salvation. This event has been taking place in Gayatri Shaktipeeth for the last several years, in which a large number of devotees participate. Chhattisgarh team defeated Goa by 5 wickets
Senior Women's Inter State T-20 practice match is being organized by Gujarat Cricket Association. In the second match played on 10 September, Chhattisgarh girls defeated Goa by 5 wickets. Earlier, the state team had defeated Himachal Pradesh. In this second match played in Ahmedabad, Goa's team, who won the toss and came to bat first, collapsed for 69 runs in 16.3 overs.
