Winter conditions continue to intensify across Chhattisgarh, with northern and central regions experiencing cold-wave-like conditions. Even Raipur is witnessing sharp morning and night chill, adding to residents’ discomfort. According to the Meteorological Department, no significant change in minimum temperatures is expected over the next three days. A slight rise of 2–3°C is likely thereafter.

Ambikapur remained the coldest location in the state, with the mercury dropping to 6.2°C. Pendra Road (9.4°C), Durg (10.6°C) and Jagdalpur (12.5°C) also reported severe cold.
