Chhattisgarh Ministerial Staff Union Polls on 17th

Voting to be held for 7 key posts including the president’s seat.

The election of Chhattisgarh Ministerial Employees Union will be held on September 17. Voting will be held on the same day and the result will be declared after counting of votes on the same day. With the final publication of the election program and voter list, the election activity has increased in the state ministry. The officers and employees of the ministry will select new office bearers for seven posts including the president. Rajkumar Chanchlani has been appointed as the election officer for the election of the Ministerial Employees Union.

Rajkumar Chanchlani released the election program on Monday. He said that voting will be held for seven posts including the president, vice-president, secretary, joint secretary, treasurer, 2 members of the Ministry Employees Union.

He said that before the voting, claims and objections can be submitted regarding the voter list till 4 pm on September 3. After this, the claims and objections will be resolved on September 4. Then the sale of nomination papers will be held between September 5 and 8, nomination papers will be filed on September 9 and withdrawal of names will be done on September 10.

Rajkumar Chanchlani said that on September 11, scrutiny of nomination papers, publication of names of candidates and allocation of election symbols will be done. After this, voting will be held on September 17 from 10 am to 4 pm. Counting of votes will take place on the same day at 5.30 pm and the results will be announced.
