Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai is set to return from Delhi today after discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on anti-Naxal operations and the state's development plans. In Raipur, Waqf Board Chairman Dr. Salim Raj led Bakrid prayers, emphasizing peace and unity. The state also commemorates the birth anniversary of folk poet Jankavi Laxman Masturia, while a two-day All India Adivasi Indigenous Tribal Writers' Conference kicks off, bringing together tribal writers and cultural experts from across the country.

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai will return from Delhi today. He will reach Raipur at 8:45 am and will then participate in various programs organized in the capital. The Chief Minister will attend the Chairman Assumption of Charge Ceremony of Chhattisgarh State Beverages Corporation Limited, Kabir Jayanti Mahotsav, Gau Gram Jan Jagran Yatra Closing Ceremony and National Mango Festival.

Celebration of Bakrid in Raipur today

Eid-ul-Azha (Bakrid) is being celebrated in Chhattisgarh today. Waqf Board Chairman Dr. Salim Raj will offer Namaz at 10 am at Idgah Bhata in the capital Raipur. He has appealed to the Muslim community not to share the video of goat sacrifice on social media and not to throw blood in public places, but bury it in a pit.
