DSP Naresh Patel Leads Raipur Festivities, Families and Women Officers Join in Joyful Celebrations

 

Raipur: Chhattisgarh police officers celebrated Holi across multiple districts after completing 72 hours of duty, bringing festive cheer to police stations and lines. In Raipur, DSP Naresh Patel sang traditional Fag songs to the beats of drums, as officers danced enthusiastically while throwing colors and gulal.

Festivities Across Districts

  • Bilaspur: Police officers in Civil Line police station and women’s stations joined in, dancing to DJ music while playing with colors. Families of officers also participated, creating a lively and colorful atmosphere.

  • Raigarh: Officers celebrated Holi along with their families in the police lines, dancing to Bollywood songs and applying colors to each other. Senior officials, including the Superintendent of Police and the District Collector, also joined, receiving Holi greetings from officers.

  • Bhilai Sector-6: Officers enthusiastically threw gulal and colors, creating a vibrant celebration across the area.

  • Korba: Police and volunteers played flower Holi with elderly residents at an old-age home. Meals were served, followed by joyous color play.

  • Durg: Officers at the Police Control Room, Sector-6, including SSP Vijay Agrawal, joined in celebrating Holi, exchanging colors and dancing to festive tunes.

Officers Share Joy After Long Duty

Despite the heavy workload of the previous three days, officers enjoyed the festival with full enthusiasm. Both male and female personnel took part in dancing, throwing colors, and celebrating Holi, sharing joy and camaraderie within the police community.

The celebrations highlighted not only team spirit and morale but also the human side of law enforcement, showing how officers balance duty with cultural festivities.
