The workshop facilitated detailed discussions on state, divisional, and district-level action plans, gathering valuable suggestions for future initiatives.
A comprehensive annual activity calendar was finalized, featuring flagship programs such as Youth Forum, Rover-Ranger Samagam, Foundation Day celebrations, Cub-Bulbul Utsav, Membership Growth Workshops, Basic and Advanced Training Courses, Specialized Adventure Camps, Tracking Expeditions, Mini Jamborees, and PPT Development Sessions. Plans also include Scouter-Guider Hikes to promote leadership and teamwork.
Addressing the gathering, State Chief Commissioner Inderjeet Singh Khalsa emphasized building a distinct national identity for Chhattisgarh in scouting. “Membership growth is our priority,” he stated, urging greater participation in national campaigns like Atmanirbhar Bharat, Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam, Swachhata Abhiyan, blood donation drives, and Local for Vocal.
State Secretary Jitendra Kumar Sahu stressed systematic implementation of scouting activities, while Assistant Director Ashok Deshmukh directed all districts to conduct membership growth workshops regularly. Other speakers shared innovative ideas to enhance training and outreach.
The workshop marks a significant step toward revitalizing Scouts and Guides movement in Chhattisgarh, fostering leadership, environmental consciousness, and community service among youth. With a clear action plan in place, the state aims to expand its footprint and inspire thousands of young minds.
