The winter chill has intensified across Chhattisgarh as cold and dry winds from the north sweep through the state. According to the Meteorological Department, minimum temperatures are expected to drop by 3–4°C over the next three days. The chill has become more noticeable during morning and evening hours in Raipur, Ambikapur, Pendra, and Rajnandgaon.

Meteorologists say that the change in wind direction from northern India has brought cooler air into the region. The weather across Chhattisgarh is expected to remain dry, with temperatures continuing to fall for at least the next 48 hours.
