Open counseling for school allocation for new lecturers begins today
Teachers' promotion orders were recently issued. Schools will be allocated for the appointment of new lecturers. Open counseling for this purpose will be held from September 25th to 28th at the Government Education College campus, Shankar Nagar, Raipur. On the first day, September 25th, counseling will be held for Sanskrit and Mathematics. On the 26th, counseling will be held for Political Science, English, History, Physics, Biology, Commerce, Geography, and Chemistry. Counseling for Hindi and Economics will be held on September 27th. Lecturers who were absent on September 25th, 26th, and 27th can participate in the counseling on September 28th. Anisha Selected in Junior India Hockey Team
The Indian women's hockey team has departed for Australia to participate in the international hockey matches to be held from September 26th to October 2nd. Anisha Sahu from Chhattisgarh has been selected for the Indian Junior Women's Squad for the Australia Tour. This tour is being conducted in preparation for the upcoming Junior Women's World Cup 2025. The best performing players from this 24-member team will be selected for the Hockey Junior Women's World Cup to be held in December. The country's women's hockey team will play five matches in Australia. During this tour, India will play its first three matches against the Australian Junior Women's Team. After that, the Indian hockey team will play two matches against the local team, Canberra Chill.
Sikasar Dam overflows, 50,000 cusecs of water being released

Consequently, the administration has appealed to residents of coastal and low-lying villages to remain vigilant. The dam continues to receive water from the catchment area. The water level at the Rajim Triveni Sangam has also risen, reaching near the height of Laxman Jhula.
State-Level Kabaddi Competition to be held at Durga College
The Chhattisgarh Higher Education Department has entrusted Durga College, Raipur with the responsibility of organizing this year's state-level men's Kabaddi Competition. College alumnus and national Kabaddi player Shashi Baghel attended the inaugural ceremony as the chief guest. Eleven teams from 11 zones, including the Raipur sector, will participate in the event, with a total of 10 matches played. University teams will be selected from these matches. Dr. Basant Agarwal (Competition Supervisor) expressed his satisfaction with two new rules implemented by the Chhattisgarh government. He stated that the team now includes 14 players instead of the previous 12, and that teams from 11 sectors are participating instead of the previous 10.
