CM Sai Honours Red Cross Members, Vows Better Healthcare

Chief Minister Sai felicitated life members of the Red Cross and reaffirmed the government's commitment to strengthening healthcare services across the state.

Blood donation is a sacred work, which not only gives life to a needy person, but is also the best example of our service towards humanity. These things were said by Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai while addressing the program organized by the Indian Red Cross Society in village Bagiya of Jashpur district today.

Chief Minister Sai said that the “Rakt-Mitra” directory is a historic and commendable initiative, through which any person can establish direct contact with blood donors on time. This initiative is an important step towards making life-saving assistance easy, accessible and timely. The Chief Minister said that I am extremely happy to see that citizens of every section in Jashpur district are actively participating in voluntary blood donation and health awareness programs and are making their valuable contribution to social service. Today, while providing certificates to blood donors, I feel proud, because a person who gives life is actually equal to God.

The Chief Minister said that we all know the importance of blood in our lives. Getting blood of the appropriate blood group at the right time can save someone's life, so blood donation is called 'Mahadaan'. The maximum number of blood donation camps are organized in the state through the Red Cross Society, which is an excellent example of public service. I appeal to the people of the state from this platform to participate in this life-saving work by donating blood as much as possible.

Chief Minister Sai said that the state government is continuously committed to expanding health services in the state. Recently, we have taken concrete steps towards ensuring quick medical assistance by flagging off ambulance services. He said that I want to assure all the citizens that our government is committed to providing quality, accessible and quick health services to every person.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai distributed certificates to the life members of the Indian Red Cross Society Jashpur in a program organized at the camp office Bagiya and released the booklet "Rakt-Mitra". During this, he appreciated the contribution of Neeraj Sharma, Ajay Kumar Kushwaha and Shiv Narayan Soni by presenting them certificates.
