CM Sai to Flag Off Rajim-Raipur Train; Key Meetings & Rallies Today

CM Sai will inaugurate the Rajim-Raipur special train, Education Minister Gajendra Yadav to hold a departmental meeting, and Congress’s voter officer rally will conclude.

Today is going to be a busy day in the state with political, administrative, and social activities. While Chief Minister Sai will attend various programs and hold important meetings on the preparations for Rajyotsav 2025, an important review meeting of the Education Department will also be held at the Secretariat. Meanwhile, the month-long strike by NHM workers and the Congress's voter rights rally will dominate the headlines. Cultural and religious events like the Agrasen Jayanti Festival and the Bhed Vigyan Sadhana Camp in the capital Raipur will also enliven the city's atmosphere throughout the day.

Chief Minister Sai's Tour Schedule
Chief Minister Sai will attend several important events today. He will depart Raipur for Rajim at 11:30 am and inaugurate the "Rajim to Raipur" special train at 12 noon. He will then return to the capital and reach the Secretariat at 1:30 pm. At 3 pm, he will hold a meeting with officials at the Secretariat to discuss the organization of Rajyotsav 2025 and provide necessary guidelines.

Important Education Department Meeting
The School Education Department will meet today at 11 am at the Ministry's Mahanadi Bhawan. The meeting will be chaired by Education Minister Gajendra Yadav. It will review the Education Department's plans, discuss filling vacant positions, and discuss infrastructure development in schools. The department's action plan will also be prioritized.

Congress Voter Rights Rally Concludes
Today is the final day of the Congress Voter Rights Rally. The rally will reach Rajnandgaon, Durg, and Bhilai. Senior Congress leaders, including state in-charge Sachin Pilot, will participate. The three-day march will conclude in Bhilai. The Congress will hold large rallies in all three districts to raise the issue of vote theft.

NHM Workers' Strike and Protest
The strike by National Health Mission (NHM) workers, which has been ongoing for over a month, shows no signs of abating. Despite the government's ultimatum, the workers have not returned to work. In Surajpur, 594 employees were terminated, while in Balodabazar and Korba, 200 employees were fired. NHM workers will also hold a "Jail Bharo" (Jail Bharo) protest today. They will protest at the Tuta protest site in Nava Raipur.

Cultural and Religious Events in the City
Agrasen Jayanti Festival: The Chhattisgarhi Daau Agrawal Samaj Mahila Mandal will organize Rangoli, Mehndi, Aarti Thali Decoration, Chair Race, and Fancy Dress Competitions at Agrasen Bhawan, Purani Basti, starting at 10:00 am.
Cultural Programs: As part of the Agrasen Jayanti Festival, various cultural programs will be held at Agrasen Dham, Chokranala, starting at 3:00 pm. Organized by Agrawal Sabha, Raipur.
Bhed Vigyan Sadhana Camp: This camp will be organized by the Jain Shwetambar Murtipujak Samaj and Chaturmas Committee at Patwa Bhawan, Tagore Nagar. Timings: 8:30 am to 11:00 am and 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
