CM Vishnu Deo Sai pays tribute to Chhattisgarh Mahatari, celebrates state’s Silver Jubilee

On the occasion of 25 years since the formation of Chhattisgarh, the capital Raipur was filled with pride and celebration.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Saturday paid floral tribute to the statue of Chhattisgarh Mahatari at the Collectorate premises, bowing in reverence and praying for the prosperity, happiness, and development of the people of the state.
The Chief Minister performed a traditional ritual in line with Chhattisgarh’s folk culture, offering prayers to Mahatari — the symbolic mother and embodiment of the state’s identity and strength.
He said, “Chhattisgarh Mahatari is the symbol of our faith, pride, and self-respect, and with her blessings, the state continues to move forward on the path of progress.”
Sai further stated that the Silver Jubilee of the state is not only a celebration of past achievements but also a symbol of new energy and commitment for the future.
He emphasized that the state government is implementing several public welfare schemes focused on women’s empowerment, youth employment, agricultural advancement, tribal development, and cultural preservation.
The Chief Minister said, “This is the land that worships the power of motherhood. With the blessings of Chhattisgarh Mahatari, our state is establishing a strong identity among the leading and prosperous states of the country.”
Extending heartfelt greetings to the people of the state on State Foundation Day, Sai expressed confidence that this Silver Jubilee year would become a milestone in fulfilling new dreams and advancing Chhattisgarh’s development.
On this occasion, MLA Purandar Mishra, along with several public representatives, distinguished citizens, and intellectuals, were present.
