CM Vishnu Dev Sai Unveils Buddha Statue in Mainpat, Makes Key Announcements for Tibetan Community

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today visited the Tibetan Cooperative Society Complex at Mainpat. On this occasion, the Tibetan community attended in large numbers and welcomed him. The Chief Minister unveiled the Buddha statue installed in the complex and made important announcements for the development of the region keeping in mind the demands of the Tibetan society. On this occasion, Chief Minister Sai garlanded the statue of Lord Buddha and bowed to him and wished happiness, prosperity and peace for the people of the state.

Recalling the 90th birthday of Dalai Lama Ji, Chief Minister Sai said that his life is a living symbol of the principles of compassion, love and peace of Lord Buddha. His message for today's world is a source of new hope and positivity. He said that leaders from all over the world, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, have wished Dalai Lama Ji on his birthday, which shows how deeply the thoughts of Lord Buddha have influenced global life.

The Chief Minister said that Mainpat is a place full of natural beauty and cultural diversity, which fascinates tourists. There is immense potential for tourism here, and the state government is committed to its overall development. The Chief Minister said that tourism has been given special priority in the new industrial policy of the state, and special incentives will be provided to those starting homestay facilities in areas like Mainpat.

Financial assistance for CC road and Buddhist monasteries

On the demand of the Tibetan community, Chief Minister Sai announced a sum of Rs 10 lakh for the construction of CC road in Mainpat. Along with this, he announced financial assistance of Rs 20 lakh for the construction of a shed in the ancient Buddhist temple. These announcements are considered to be important steps towards fulfilling the long-standing demands of the local community.
