Cold Returns to Chhattisgarh, Temperature Likely to Drop
Digital Desk
Winter is gradually returning to Chhattisgarh as the weather pattern begins to shift. With moisture levels dropping due to the weakening low-pressure system over the Bay of Bengal, cold winds have started to dominate the region. As the rains subside, both daytime and nighttime temperatures have begun to fall noticeably.
Residents have now switched off air conditioners and fans, while blankets and quilts are making their way out again. According to the Meteorological Department, temperatures across the state could drop by up to 4°C over the next four days.
In the past 24 hours, Raipur recorded the highest maximum temperature at 31.1°C, while Ambikapur reported the lowest minimum at 13.0°C. This temperature gap indicates that cold conditions in northern Chhattisgarh are intensifying, particularly during early mornings and late nights.
Dry Weather Expected for the Next Four Days
The synoptic analysis by the Meteorological Department shows no rainfall activity anywhere in the state. The forecast suggests that Chhattisgarh will continue to experience dry weather for the next few days. On November 7, no rain is expected in any part of the state, and meteorologists say no major weather changes are likely in the next 48 hours.
In Raipur, skies are expected to remain mostly clear today. The maximum temperature may hover around 31°C, while the minimum could drop to 19°C. With mild, cool winds, the day is likely to remain pleasant and the nights comfortably chilly.
