Collector Inaugurates E-Office: District Offices to Operate with E-Files Instead of Paper Files

Bringing a digital transformation to administration, the district collector inaugurated the e-office system. From now on, traditional paper files will be replaced by e-files in all district offices to ensure faster and more efficient governance.

Taking a big step towards modernizing the administrative system, the implementation of e-office system has been started in Mungeli district. With the aim of ensuring transparency, efficiency and timeliness in work, Collector Kundan Kumar formally launched this new system by sending the first file through e-office from the NIC room.

Collector Kundan Kumar said that now the process of government work and files will become completely digital and trackable with e-office. This will eliminate complaints like loss of files and the record of every document will be available online.

He said that “Transparency, time saving and quick disposal of files will be possible with e-office. Along with this, it was described as a big step towards a digital and smooth governance system in accordance with the intention of the government.
