Congress Holds Economic Blockade Against ED Today; Chamber Declines Support, Cites Political Neutrality

As Congress launches an economic blockade protest against the Enforcement Directorate (ED) today, the Chamber of Commerce has distanced itself from the movement, stating it will not support any politically driven action to maintain its non-partisan stance.

In protest against the arrest of former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel's son Chaitanya Baghel, Congress has announced an economic blockade across the state from 12 noon to 2 pm today against the ED. But the Chamber of Commerce has refused to support this blockade.

Former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, who returned to Chhattisgarh from Delhi with Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President Raja Barad, talked about economic blockade in the entire state in a discussion with the media at the airport. On the other hand, regarding the Supreme Court's comment on ED, Bhupesh Baghel said that what could be a bigger comment than this. ED is working as a wing of BJP. This is a big slap on ED.

The former Chief Minister alleged that people of the opposition are being targeted. ED does not have even one percent strike rate. It is being misused to achieve politics. Work is being done to tarnish the image of the party and the opposition. On the resignation of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that there is information of a fierce storm coming. The Vice President was healthy in the meeting, there is no health issue. And there is a serious matter somewhere else.
