Congress Leader Brijmohan Singh Arrested for Derogatory Remarks Against PM Modi

Brijmohan Singh, a Congress leader from Nagpur, was arrested for allegedly making derogatory comments about Prime Minister Narendra Modi on social media. The Congress party has distanced itself from the remarks, emphasizing the importance of respectful discourse.

Bhilai. A case has come to light of Congress leader Brijmohan Singh making indecent comments on Facebook against Operation Sindoor and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Hurt by the post made by the Congress leader on social media on May 10, BJP members reached Vaishali Nagar police station. Police have detained Brijmohan Singh late night after registering an FIR in the case.

Congress leaders led by Bhilai District President Mukesh Chandrakar protested against the arrest of Brijmohan Singh. Former MLA Arun Vora also reached the spot. But the police have taken action against Brijmohan Singh under non-jamabandi sections against comments on social media.

In fact, while commenting on the post of a person named Ishwar Dubey on social media, Brijmohan Singh had abused and made indecent comments about Prime Minister Modi. In the comment of the post, there was a mention of leaving the battlefield during the war with Pakistan. Brijmohan made a post from his Facebook account on May 10. In this too, indecent comments were made against Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding Operation Sindoor. A complaint has been lodged in three different places under the leadership of BJP leader Sharda Gupta.

After registering an FIR, the police arrested Brijmohan Singh late at night. Congress leader Brijmohan Singh has been the vice-president of SADA. Seeing the increasing crowd of angry Bhaipais in the police station, Brijmohan Singh had to be sent to another police station.
