CSVTU VC Interview Postponed; 11 Candidates Were Shortlisted

The interview process for the appointment of the Vice Chancellor of Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU) has been postponed. A total of 11 names were shortlisted for the interview before the sudden delay.

Swami Vivekanand Technical University is going to get a new Vice Chancellor soon. All the processes for the selection of the Vice Chancellor have been completed and only the interview of the candidates is remaining. The Raj Bhavan will announce the name of the new Vice Chancellor after the interview in the next few days. According to reliable sources, the Raj Bhavan has shortlisted 11 candidates for the post of VC.

The interview of the candidates was to be held on Friday, July 11, but it has been postponed for the time being. It is being told that, Professor Dr. RK Singh of Bipin Tripathi Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand, Professor Ram Narayan Khare, Director of CSVTU's constituent college in Ambikapur and Professor ML Agarwal, Additional Director of Technical Education Department are in the top priority list. Prof. Anil Tiwari and Prof. Rajesh Tripathi of NIT Raipur have also received a call from the Raj Bhavan for interview.

This is how the Vice Chancellor is selected
The candidates who have been shortlisted will now be interviewed one-to-one. This interview will be conducted by the Vice Chancellor Selection Committee. The members of the committee will discuss with the candidates apart from their academic background. In which each candidate will have to tell his vision. If he is made the Vice Chancellor, then how will he make the university better, there will be dozens of such topics. After listening to all the candidates, the selection committee will rank them in order. After this, a panel of names of all the candidates will be made. Here everyone will be ranked according to their ability.
