A case of fraud of Rs 4.80 crore has come to light from an industrialist in Nyaydhani. The industrialist has been duped by making him invest in installments from 2023 to 2025 by luring him with the promise of profit and property on investment in Culture Club. The case is of Sirgitti police station area. The police have registered a case of fraud and started investigation.
According to the information, an industrialist living in Rama World had gone out of Chhattisgarh on a tour. During this time, he got acquainted with a firm operator from another state. After befriending the industrialist, the firm operator told him that he would give him property in prime location with a huge amount of profit on investing in the name of Culture Club.
The industrialist started investing after getting convinced by the words of the firm operator. The industrialist has invested Rs 4 crore 80 lakh in different installments from the year 2023 to 2025. He realized that he was cheated when he did not get profit and property and the firm operator gave evasive answers. After this, he lodged an FIR. On the basis of the report of the industrialist, the police has registered a case against unknown persons under sections 420, 406 of the BNS and has started investigation.
