He told police that after locking the storeroom on April 12 evening, he returned the next morning to find the lock broken and the wall partially damaged. Items including a water motor, cables, and cutting tools worth around ₹20,000 were stolen.

House Burgled During Absence

In another Jamul case, Simmu Shyam Lal Ahirwar, a resident of Amrapali Phase-2 Housing Board, reported a burglary while his family was away attending a wedding on April 13 evening.

They returned around 2:30 am to find the house ransacked. A gold chain from the पूजा area, ₹5,500 in cash, and an LCD television were missing. The total loss is estimated at ₹55,000.

Sources indicated that two additional houses in the same locality were targeted the same night, suggesting coordinated activity.

Scooter Theft Reported

The third incident took place in Mohan Nagar थाना limits. Jyoti Adil, who runs a beauty parlour in Deepak Nagar, reported the theft of her Activa scooter.

She had parked the vehicle outside her shop on the morning of April 11. When she returned around 5 pm, it was missing. Despite searching the area, no clues were found. The scooter is valued at approximately ₹26,000.

Closed House Targeted

In Padmanabhpur थाना area, a locked house in Dhanora village was broken into. The owner, Kanshiram Devangan, had been away in Pune since March 12.

The incident came to light when a domestic worker arrived on April 11 and noticed the broken latch. Upon inspection, valuables including silver idols, a pearl necklace, coins worth ₹1,400, and a wristwatch were found missing.

Police informed the homeowner, who returned on April 12 to assess the loss.

Police officials confirmed that all four cases are under active investigation. CCTV footage from nearby areas is being analysed, and suspect movements are being tracked.
