Fake Doctor John Kem Sent Back to Damoh Jail

Apollo Hospital's fake doctor Narendra John Kem has been sent back to Damoh jail after his remand ended. Dr. John Kem was arrested on production remand and brought to Bilaspur.

While posted at Apollo Hospital, the family members have accused former Assembly Speaker Rajendra Shukla and other patients of dying due to negligence in treatment. An FIR has been registered against Dr. John at Sarkanda police station in the matter. After the accused fake doctor was brought from Damoh to Bilaspur, the police interrogated the doctor in the case.

It is worth noting that Dr. Narendra John Kam did more than 15 heart surgeries in January-February 2025 at the Missionary Hospital in Damoh, out of which 8 patients have died. Of the patients who were operated upon, three died during angioplasty. Investigation revealed that Dr. Narendra John Kam's degree and experience were completely fake.

After the fake doctor was exposed in Damoh, there was a stir in Bilaspur as well. Former Assembly Speaker Pt. Rajendra Shukla's son Pradeep Shukla had lodged a police complaint blaming the fake doctor for his death during treatment at Apollo Hospital in 2006.

A case has been registered against fake doctor Narendra Vikramaditya Yadav alias Narendra Jan Kem under sections 420 (cheating), 466 (forgery of documents), 468 (forgery with intent to cheat), 471 (use of forged documents), 304 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) and 34 (mass crime) of the Indian Penal Code.

Apollo management has also been made an accused in this case. It is alleged that the hospital management admitted the fake doctor without document verification and gave him a chance for treatment, which led to serious negligence and the patient died. The police is also investigating the role of the management in the case.

Police investigation found that Narendra's real name is Narendra Vikramaditya Yadav. He is a resident of Dehradun. His name is written as Narendra John Kem in the documents. He has an MBBS degree in 2006, which is said to be from Andhra Pradesh Medical College. His registration number is 153427. After this, none of the 3 MD and cardiologist degrees given have a registration number. These degrees are said to be from Calcutta, Darjeeling and UK.
