Fear of Arrest for Bhupesh Baghel as Supreme Court Hears Petitions by Chaitanya & Baghel Today

Amid fears of arrest, former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel faces a critical day as the Supreme Court examines pending petitions filed by him and Chaitanya. All eyes are on the courtroom proceedings for developments.
Former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel is now afraid of arrest. In view of this, he has filed a petition in the Supreme Court for preventing misuse of rights against the Central Investigation Agency ED and CBI. Apart from this, his son Chaitanya Baghel has reached the Supreme Court for bail. In this way, a total of three petitions of father and son will be heard in the double bench of the Supreme Court on Monday 4 August. It is noteworthy that ED and CBI have been active for a long time in Chhattisgarh for coal, DMF, medicine, PSC and liquor scam and are also investigating various scams.
Recently, Chaitanya Baghel, son of former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, was arrested in the liquor scam case. The ED issued a press note claiming that Chaitanya Baghel has been arrested on charges of Moneylodering and Moneycrying. In the court, the ED had also told that many accused in the liquor scam case took the name of Chaitanya Baghel and have told their role, so they have been arrested.
