Former CM Baghel will go to ED Office to his Son Amid Raid

Former Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel visited the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office as part of the probe after his son, Chaitanya Baghel, was arrested in the ₹2,100–5,000 cr liquor scam. Bhupesh also met his son during the process.

The action of Enforcement Directorate (ED) is going on in the liquor scam case of Chhattisgarh. After raiding, ED arrested Chaitanya Baghel, son of former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. After the arrest, he was produced in the special court, from where the court sent him on five-day remand. Meanwhile, former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will go to ED office today at 1 pm and will meet Chaitanya Baghel.

Former CM Bhupesh Baghel has also posted on social media X. He shared the post and said that "tomorrow at 01:00 pm I will go to ED office to meet son Chaitanya."

Let us tell you that at 6 am on Friday, the ED team raided Bhupesh Baghel's residence in Bhilai. A team of about 8 officers arrived in two vehicles to conduct the raid and during this, after investigation, Bhupesh Baghel's son Chaitanya Baghel was arrested on his birthday and produced in the special court of Judge Damrudhar Chauhan of Raipur.

After hearing the case, the court has sent Chaitanya Baghel on 5-day ED remand, where he will be questioned in the liquor scam. Now the ED team will present Chaitanya Baghel in the special court on July 22 at 4 pm.
