Goa, Gujarat, Odisha join MP in helping Bastar flood victims

After Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Gujarat and Odisha extended support to Bastar’s flood-affected people, Chief Minister Sai expressed gratitude for their timely help.
Life has been badly affected by the floods in Bastar division. In this hour of disaster, many states have extended a helping hand to the Chhattisgarh government. After Madhya Pradesh and Goa, now the Gujarat and Odisha governments have also provided an amount of Rs 5 crore each to help Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has expressed gratitude to both the states for this help.
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai posted on Twitter (formerly Twitter) and wrote that he is grateful to Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Manjhi for providing relief amount of ₹ 5 crore each during the flood disaster in Chhattisgarh. Your cooperation will ensure quick relief for the affected families of Bastar division and will strengthen our disaster management capacity. Your practical support is an example of our shared responsibility and mutual cooperation. On behalf of the Chhattisgarh government and the people here, I heartily thank you for this cooperation.
Let us tell you that first of all, the Madhya Pradesh government had sent Rs 5 crore and relief material for the flood affected people of Chhattisgarh. After this, the Goa government also deposited Rs 5 crore in the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. Now assistance amount of Rs 5 crore each has also been sent by Gujarat and Odisha.
