Head-On Collision Between Two Cars on Mowa Overbridge; Three Injured

On Wednesday morning, a high-speed head-on collision occurred between two cars on the Mowa overbridge in Raipur. Three people sustained injuries and were immediately admitted to Mekahara Hospital for treatment. Authorities are currently verifying the identities of the injured, whose condition has been reported as stable.
According to the Pandri police, eyewitnesses stated that a Kia Sonet and a Hyundai Creta were traveling at high speed on the overbridge when they collided at a bend. The impact was so severe that the front sections of both vehicles were extensively damaged. The accident also caused a temporary disruption of traffic on the bridge.
Traffic was cleared quickly after bystanders informed the authorities, and the injured were rushed to the hospital. Initial police investigations suggest that over-speeding was the primary cause of the accident. Further inquiry will be conducted to examine all aspects of the crash, and necessary action will be taken.
