The aim of the campaign is to eliminate the sources of mosquitoes that spread dengue. The health department team will go door-to-door and check coolers, water tanks, containers, old tires, flower vases, etc. and empty the stored water if needed.
Officials said that the water accumulated at these places becomes a breeding ground for mosquitoes that spread dengue and malaria, which is extremely dangerous.
