Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal conducted a surprise inspection of DKS Hospital in Raipur at 7 am on Wednesday. During the inspection, Minister Jaiswal met the patients admitted in the hospital and inquired about their health. During this, he asked about the treatment and facilities being provided.
Know the condition of the patients
The Health Minister talked to the children and women patients admitted in the hospital and inquired about their health. He also inquired about the treatment facilities. He also discussed with the relatives of the patients and listened to their problems.
During the inspection, Jaiswal also took stock of the facilities like cleanliness of the hospital premises, medicine distribution, medical examination, operation theater, ward arrangements. During this, he interacted with the doctors, nursing staff and other employees and instructed them to be more sensitive in the care of the patients.
Negligence will not be tolerated: Minister Jaiswal
Minister Jaiswal said that the state government is committed to providing quality health facilities to the common citizens. He said that any kind of negligence will not be tolerated in hospitals and all the employees should work dedicatedly in the interest of the patients.
