Monsoon has become active in entire Chhattisgarh. There is a possibility of rain in many districts today. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain in Surguja division. Along with this, there is a possibility of rain and lightning with strong winds in Raipur, Bilaspur, Rajnandgaon, Balod, Sukma, Bijapur, Dantewada, Kanker and other districts.
The minimum temperature in Raipur has been recorded at 25.8 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature at 31.1 degrees. The Meteorological Department has said that similar weather will remain for the next three days. Heavy to very heavy rain is expected in Surguja division of northern Chhattisgarh during the next 24 hours. On the other hand, it has been raining continuously for 60 hours in Jashpur district.
