Once again a case of hit and run has come to light in the capital Raipur. On Wednesday night, two traffic jawans posted on duty at Telibandha Chowk were hit by a speeding pickup vehicle and fled from the spot. Both the jawans were seriously injured in the accident, who were immediately admitted to the hospital. This incident happened when the jawans were engaged in traffic control and trying to stop the vehicle.
The incident took place between 9 to 9:30 pm, when traffic constables Keshav Kshatriya and Rajjab Khan were posted on duty in front of Telibandha police station. Meanwhile, a speeding Maharashtra passing pickup coming from Tatibandh broke the traffic signal and moved towards the jawans at high speed.
