Horrific Accident in Raigarh Caught on CCTV: Car Mows Down Three, Including a Woman; Eyewitness Says Girl Was Driving

A chilling CCTV video has surfaced from Chhattisgarh’s Raigarh district showing the exact moment a speeding car mowed down three people — a woman and two motorcyclists — near Chalha Chowk in Khamha village on October 30. All three victims died on the spot.

According to police, the car was traveling on the wrong side of the road when it hit the victims standing and riding along the roadside. After the collision, three people — two men and a woman — stepped out of the car and fled the scene, leaving the vehicle behind.

The Victims and the Tragic Sequence

The deceased were identified as Lalita Minj (35), a resident of Rampur, who was standing by the roadside, and Fakir Mohan Patel (33) of Parsada and Amit Kindo (26) of Mainpat, who were traveling on a motorcycle toward Kapu. The car first struck Lalita, then rammed into the two bikers, killing all three instantly due to severe head injuries.

An eyewitness, Prabha Tirki, told police that she saw a fast-moving car lose control and hit the woman before crashing into the bikers. She claimed the vehicle was being driven by a young girl, accompanied by two male passengers.

Graphic Footage Shows Impact of the Collision

The CCTV footage shows the car speeding uncontrollably, striking the victims with immense force. One of the bikers was thrown onto the road, while the other was flung to the side, both sustaining fatal injuries. The car’s front portion was badly damaged in the collision.

Police reached the scene shortly after the incident, assisted by the Dial-112 emergency team, and sent the bodies for post-mortem. The victims, Fakir and Amit, were reportedly working under a local contractor.

Authorities have registered a case of rash and negligent driving under the Dharmjaygarh police station limits. The search for the three absconding suspects is ongoing.
