Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai will remain at the Chief Minister's residence in Raipur today. A cabinet meeting will be held on September 30th at 3:30 pm under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister. This cabinet meeting will see Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain bid farewell and the new Chief Secretary Vikassheel will be welcomed.

Protest today demanding action against Godavari Steel Plant
Raipur. Regarding the September 26th accident at Godavari Power and Steel Limited in Silatara, former MLA Devjibhai Patel and Raipur District Panchayat Chairperson Saroj Chandravanshi wrote a letter to the Governor, Chief Minister, Industry Minister, and Collector on Saturday, demanding action against management officials and those responsible, and demanding adequate compensation for the injured and jobs for their dependents. A one-day protest was threatened on Monday to press this demand. The protest will gather at Gate No. 2 of Godavari Power and Steel Limited at 11 a.m. A road blockade has also been warned if the demands of the protest are not met.
Navapad Oli Aaradhana in Vivekananda Nagar begins today
Raipur. The Jain Shwetambar Idol Worshiping Society of Vivekananda Nagar is beginning its Navpad Oli Aaradhana program on September 29th. The nine-day austerity program will be held under the guidance of Upadhyay Bhagwant Adhyatma Yogi Mahendra Sagar Maharaj and Upadhyay Pravar Yuva Manish Sagar Maharaj. This aaradhana is held every year from Saptami to Purnima in the months of Chaitra and Asoj. The Snatra Puja will begin at 6 a.m. on September 29th. Further rituals will be completed at 6 a.m. The discourse will begin at 8:30 a.m.
