Krishna Janmashtami Celebrated with Fervour in Capital, 1100 Kg Malpua Prepared at ISKCON Temple

On the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami, temples across the capital were filled with devotion and enthusiasm. Special arrangements were made at the ISKCON temple, where 1,100 kg of Malpua was prepared for devotees.

Nand ke Anand Bhayo, Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki…. There is a lot of excitement in the temples of the capital Raipur regarding Shri Krishna Janmashtami. A 3-day Janmashtami festival is going on in the ISKCON temple located at Tatiband. 1100 kg of Malpua has been prepared for the offering at Jaitusaav Math. Apart from this, the Radha Krishna temple of Samta Colony has been decorated with flowers.

A three-day festival is going on today regarding Krishna Janmashtami in the ISKCON temple located at Tatiband. Clothes and jewellery have been specially ordered from Vrindavan and Mumbai for the decoration of the Lord. Leela the Spiritual Rock Band, a team of artists from Delhi and Vrindavan Dham will perform today at 6 pm. Harinam Kirtan will go on from 11 am. People will be able to have darshan from 9 am to 2 pm.

The festival of Janmashtami is being celebrated with great pomp in the Shri Radha Krishna temple located in Samta Colony. A large number of devotees are reaching the temple to have darshan of Bal Gopal. The rituals were started with milk Abhishek of Bal Gopal, Shri Krishna and Radha Rani. A grand celebration of Krishna Janmashtami festival will be organized at 7.30 pm today. After this, Maha Aarti will be performed by offering 56 bhogs.
