A massive fire broke out in the city's most crowded Shanichari market at 3 am in the morning. About 2 dozen shops caught in the fire have been burnt to ashes. On receiving the information, the joint fire brigade team reached the spot and started extinguishing the fire. Due to the narrow streets, a lot of effort had to be made to control it.
