The second phase of counseling process for admission to MBBS and BDS courses under NEET UG 2025 in Chhattisgarh is being started from tomorrow, September 13. In this phase, the last date for new registration for eligible candidates has been fixed as September 17. 938 seats are vacant after the first phase of counseling in medical and dental colleges.

Seats increased in 3 medical colleges
On the basis of permission letters received from the National Medical Commission (NMC) Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB), MBBS seats have been increased in three medical colleges in the academic session 2025-26. According to the letter issued by the Medical Education Commissioner's Office, there has been an increase of 50-50 seats in Sri Sankaracharya Institute of Medical Sciences Bhilai and Abhishek Mishra Memorial Medical College and Research Bhilai. Similarly, the seats of Shankaracharya College have increased from 150 to 200 and the seats of Abhishek Mishra Memorial College have increased from 100 to 150. There has been an increase of 100 seats in Shri Balaji Institute of Medical Science Raipur. Now the medical seats here have become 250.
