MEMU Train Fails to Reach Gevra Road on Time Since Launch

Since its launch, the MEMU train has consistently failed to arrive on time at Gevra Road station. Daily delays have caused inconvenience to passengers, raising concerns over schedule management and operational efficiency.

It has been almost 10 days since the Raipur-Gevraroad MEMU local started. But within this period, not even a single day has the MEMU local reached Gevraroad railway station. This is also for express trains. Passengers are upset about this.

The railway management has started Raipur Gevraroad MEMU local from July 16. This has brought relief to the passengers of the Koyalanchal region. But since the train has started, not a single day has the train reached Gevraroad railway station on time. The departure time of this train from Raipur railway station is around 1.50 pm. The scheduled time to reach Gevraroad is 7.30 pm. On Friday, the MEMU local reached Gevraroad railway station with a delay of about 50 minutes.

On the other hand, it reached with a delay of more than two hours on Thursday. During this time, passengers are facing a lot of inconvenience. Passengers are not reaching the destination on time. Due to the delay in the train, many times passengers are not even able to get an auto to go home. Due to this, people of Bankimongra, Dipka, Hardibazaar and other nearby areas are facing a lot of inconvenience in commuting.

The same is the situation of Link Express. On Friday, Link Express reached Korba railway station about one and a half hours late from its scheduled time. Whereas its scheduled time to reach Korba railway station is 11.15 am. There is growing resentment among passengers regarding the delay in passenger trains.
