Mitanins block National Highway in CG

Mitanins in Chhattisgarh staged a protest by blocking the National Highway, bringing the traffic system to a complete halt. Commuters faced long delays as the demonstration disrupted movement for several hours.

On Tuesday, the administration stopped the Mitanins of the district going to Raipur to join the state-wide strike at the district headquarters itself. Enraged by this, the Mitanins blocked the National Highway 130 near Tiranga Chowk. Due to this sudden protest, the traffic on the highway came to a complete halt and long queues of vehicles were formed. In almost all the districts of the state, the administration is trying to stop the Mitanins from reaching Raipur.

The Mitanins allege that they are being prevented from going to Raipur and putting forward their demands, which is an attempt to weaken the movement. They say that till their voice does not reach the capital, they will remain on the road.

A heavy police force has been deployed on the spot to control the situation. At present, the administrative staff is constantly trying to convince the Mitanins, but the protesters are adamant on their decision.
