Mohan Bhagwat to visit Raipur on December 31, massive Hindu conference to be held in Sonpairi

A large-scale Hindu conference will be held in Raipur on December 31, with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat attending the event as the main speaker. National spiritual leader Asang Dev will be the chief guest.
The conference will take place at the Asang Dev Kabir Ashram in Sonpairi village of Abhanpur block and is scheduled to begin at 2 pm. According to the organising committee, discussions will focus on the preservation of Sanatan culture, social harmony, and national consciousness.
Saints, social workers, intellectuals, and a large number of people from across the state are expected to attend the event. Preparations are in their final stages, with special emphasis on security arrangements, traffic management, and seating facilities.
Devkar Saheb, patron of the Sonpairi Hindu Conference Committee, and secretary Pradeep Gajendra said all logistical arrangements have been completed. Separate teams have been deployed to ensure smooth conduct of the programme.
The organising committee has appealed to followers of Sanatan Dharma and members of the Hindu community across the state to participate in large numbers.
Notably, several Hindu conferences have been organised across Chhattisgarh in December. Events were held in Vishrampur on December 9, Chandkhuri on December 12, and Bhanupratappur on December 13. The Sonpairi conference on December 31 is being viewed as one of the major religious and social gatherings in the state.
