New Initiative for Social Groups: MLA to Provide Free Drinking Water for Social, Religious, Mourning and Poor Families’

A new public welfare initiative has been launched in the Vaishali Nagar Assembly constituency by MLA Rikesh Sen. Under the project titled “Rikesh Sen MLA Samajik Seva Jal-Prakalp,” a dedicated water plant is being set up to provide free clean drinking water for various social, religious, administrative and community events.

The aim of this initiative is to ensure that no family, institution, or event committee faces a shortage of drinking water, especially during important or sensitive occasions.

Help for Religious Events, Weddings of Poor Families

MLA Rikesh Sen said the service will be completely free and operated solely for public welfare. Depending on the type of event, a fixed number of water boxes will be supplied.

For Bhagwat Katha or other religious discourses held in the area, 50 boxes of water will be provided free of cost. Similarly, 50 boxes will be made available to support the weddings of girls from economically weaker families.

Support During Mourning Ceremonies

Families observing ceremonies like Dashgatra or Terahvin will also receive 50 boxes of water from the Jal-Prakalp. Schools in the constituency will be provided 25 boxes of water for annual functions.

For any event organized by the district administration or police, 50 boxes of water will be arranged.

Available for Community Events, Press Programs, Sports Tournaments

Large community gatherings, Press Club events, and any sports tournament within the constituency will be eligible to receive 50 boxes of water.
Additionally, blood donation camps and health camps will be supported with 25 boxes.
